July 23, 2010

The Auglaize County Sheriff's Office is investigating a business burglary, which is located in the 4000 block of CR33A, just east of St.Marys.  The incident took place between 2am and 3am, Thursday July 22, 2010.  Investigation revealed that at least two subjects, forced entry into the business and stole several items.  Anyone with information is asked to call the Sheriff's Office at 419-739-6565

July 21, 2010

The Auglaize County Sheriff's Office is continuing to investigate a rash of burglaries and a stolen vehicle in the area of SR29, Washington Pike and Barrington Roads in St.Marys Township.  Several buildings were entered and items removed.  These incidents happened between 10 p.m. March 1, 2010 and 6 a.m.  March 2, 2010.

It appears that the person(s) responsible were on foot in the area checking to see what was unlocked, etc....  Force was used at other locations.  These incidents are similar to other thefts east of the village of Minster, as well as Glynwood New Knoxville Road between US 33 and CR 33-A.

July 14, 2010

The Auglaize County Sheriff's Office is investigating a theft incident from the Columbia Square Mobile Home Park, located at the East edge of St.Marys.  The incident took place between 6:10pm, June 29, 2010 and 6:10pm, July 3, 2010.  Unknown subject(s) entered a small shed and removed a generator.  Anyone with information concerning the theft is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 419--739-6565.

July 7, 2010

The Auglaize County Sheriff's Office is investigating an attempted residential burglary, located within the 15,000 block of Mercer Auglaize Line Rd.  The incident took place between 6:00pm June 25, 2010 and 10:00am June 27, 2010.

Subject(s) trespassed onto a property, and attempted to gain entry into a residence through a window.  Anyone with information is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 419-739-6565.

The Auglaize County Sheriff's Office is investigating several incidents of vandalism to vehicles in the village of New Knoxville.  The incidents took place between 11:00pm, June 25, 2010 and 7:00am, June 27, 2010.  Anyone with information concerning these activities is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 419-739-6565.

June16, 2010

The Auglaize County Sheriff's Office is still seeking information regarding a residential burglary of a residence located in the 5100 block of St.Marys Kossuth Rd. about five miles north of St.Marys.  The incident took place between 6:30am and 4:30pm on Friday, May 21, 2010.

Unknown subjects gained entry into a residence and stole several firearms and ammunition.  Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 419-739-6565.

June 9, 2010

The Auglaize County Sheriff's Office is investigating the theft of a swimming pool pump, filter and hoses, from a residence located in the 3000 block of Celina Rd, about a mile west of St.Marys.  The theft took place between 8:00pm, May 28, 2010 and 5:30pm, May 29, 2010.

The Sheriff's Office is also investigating a break in and theft of items from a storage unit, located in the 200 block of Northway Drive, Villa Nova area, just west of St.Marys.  The incident would have taken place between September and November of 2009.

The Auglaize County Sheriff's Office is investigating a residential burglary of a residence located in the 5100 block of St.Marys Kossuth Rd., about 5 miles north of St.Marys.  The incident took place between 6:30am ad 4:30pm Friday, May 21, 2010

Unknown subjects gained entry into a residence and stole several firearms and ammunition.  Anyone with information concerning this incident is asked to contact the Sheriff's Office at 419-739-6565.

February 19, 2010

Sheriff Al Solomon reported today that Deputies from the Sheriff's Office are investigating multiple incidents of breaking and entering and theft which were reported early yesterday morning.

At least two outbuildings were entered at separate locations near SR363 and Fisher and Koverman Road which is east of Minster.  A large number of tools were stolen from the outbuildings.

The suspects also trespassed on at least two other properties in that area and stole items.  Items taken consist of a car which was later recovered, a handgun, and money.

The total value of items taken from these locations is around $7,500.00.  The incidents occurred between midnight and 7a.m.  The incidents remain under investigation.  Anyone with information on the incident or suspicious activity in the area between these times is asked to contact the Auglaize County Sheriff's Office at 419-739-6565.

Sheriff Solomon would like to remind residents to not leave any valuables or keys in their parked vehicles, even if the vehicles are parked inside a garage or building.  Secure all garages and outbuildings.

Sheriff Al Solomon reported today that Deputies and Detectives from the Sheriff's Office are investigating multiple incidents of breaking and entering and theft which were reported early yesterday morning.  At least three outbuildings were entered at separate locations near US33 and Glynwood New Knoxville Road.  The suspects also trespassed on at least two other properties in that area and stole items.

Items taken consist of a pickup truck, trailer, 2 all terrain vehicles, and tools.  The total value of items taken from these locations is around $18,000.00.  The incidents occurred between midnight and 7:00am.  The incidents remain under investigation.
