All dogs, 3 months of age or older, are required to be tagged in Ohio.
The annual license renewal period is December 1st through January 31st. If you have a new puppy, you must buy a license by the time he/she reaches 3 months old. If you have just moved into Auglaize County or if you just acquired a new dog, you must purchase a license within 30 days.

Ohio law requires a late fee ($20.00 in Auglaize County). Simply pay the fee of $40.00 for the current year's license. There are no provisions in the law to waive the fee.

It is not safe to let your dog roam the neighborhood. He/she can get hit by a car, become lost, damage neighbor's property, or injure another animal or person.
