INFORMATION ABOUT A PROJECT NEAR YOU Auglaize County Board of Commissioners Mr. Don Regula Mr. Douglas Spencer Mr. John Bergman 209 South Blackhoof St Wapakoneta, OH 45895 RE: Letter of Notification Wapakoneta Area Improvements - Gemini Substation Filed as Gemini Station 138-kV Substation Project Case No. 18-1637-EL-BLN Dear Commissioners: You are receiving this letter because a transmission line project has been proposed in your area. We announced in July the Wapakoneta Area Improvements Project, which involves building approximately 15 miles of 138-kilovolt transmission line, building two new substations and expanding an existing substation. We have filed a portion of the project with the Ohio Power Siting Board (OPSB} as the Gemini Station 138-kV Substation Project. This component involves building the proposed Gemini Substation in Pusheta Township in Auglaize County. The improvements are expected to improve electric service reliability for customers and support economic development . We're coordinating with the city of Wapakoneta and its electric department on the work, and plan to begin construction next spring. Please see the attached Letter of Notification filed to the OPSB. This is required whenever we make certain changes to our transmission facilities, according to Rule 4906-6-01, et. seq., of the Ohio Administrative Code. We filed this project as the Gemini Station 138kV Substation Project, Public Utilities Commission of Ohio Case No. 18-1637-EL-BLN. The Letter of Notification to construct, operate and maintain this facility is pending before the OPSB. Please make this Letter of Notification available to the public.
